The Development Operations (DevOps) Engineer position at ROKO Labs will work side by side with engineering, platform, development, and operations teams and will be primarily responsible for designing, implementing, and automating build, release, deploy, monitoring, and configuration activities. The Development Operations Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between development, operations, and infrastructure, all supporting a highly diverse portfolio of client projects.
Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps function
Familiarity with cloud, such as AWS and Azure
Experience building server systems from scratch
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server including PowerShell scripting
Proficiency in TCP/IP networking: configuration, load balancing, troubleshooting
Knowledge of management of MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB. Any other DB systems are a plus
Up to date proficiency in AWS operations
Knowledge of Continuous Integration systems, such as Jenkins, CodeDeploy, or AWS DevOps
Knowledge of monitoring systems, such as NAGIOS, New Relic
Excellent written communication skills, ability to track multiple work streams simultaneously
Professional attitude toward crisis management
Advanced Qualifications:
AWS Certifications (SA or higher)
